The Identity verification (eKYC) service provided by ARGOS improves end-user convenience for platforms using ARGOS through various options and security rules. Depending on the internal settings of the platform that introduced the service, each end-user may be rejected at various stages after starting Identity verification.
Depending on the main reason for the rejection, you can retry after 24 or 48 hours, and ARGOS will not cancel the waiting period.
* The platform solely organizes the management/operation of customer information collected during the Identity verification phase of the platform's end-users, and ARGOS complies with this.
Please observe the following before proceeding smoothly with identity verification.
- Please ensure that the portable device you use for Identity verification is the latest model or OS.
* If it is an outdated device or OS, there may be technical difficulties when taking an ID during the Identity verification step. ARGOS will not be able to support such technical issues. - Before proceeding with Identity verification (eKYC), please disconnect your portable device from the wireless (WiFi) internet connection or VPN network, preferably on your carrier's network. In addition, please clear the cache of the mobile device's default browser to ensure a smooth process.
- Please take only the designated IDs required for the Identity verification step.
* You may be rejected if you take and submit an ID that does not allow us to verify your face or any other ID other than the specified ID. - Your ID must be physical; do not use a printed ID or an image file of your ID on a monitor or portable device.
* For some countries, we accept IDs on coated paper. In this case, the ARGOS AI system may reject your submission attempt, and you will need to contact the platform support for more help. - When taking your ID and selfie (if required), please take it in an environment where you can be recognized.
* Avoid lighting that is too bright or dark, white or too dark backgrounds, and handheld device screens when photographing physical IDs. - To ensure that we collect accurate information on your physical ID, avoid using post-it notes or your fingers to cover it partially.
- Some platforms that use ARGOS Identity verification (eKYC) require only one authorized account per person. This is based on each platform's end-user policy, and if you already have an authorized account on that platform, submitting your ID under any other random account may result in rejection.
Except for some immediate rejection reasons, an account is allowed three attempts per account if the photo ID needs to be supplemented. If you are not approved after 3 attempts, you will be declined and can try again after 24 hours.
Please note that ARGOS will not arbitrarily remove the rejected status or approve you if you have already been rejected.
We hope the above explanation will help you with the Identity verification process.
