Multi-verification options
🪪 Gov Check - South Korea: Verifies ID documents issued in Korea against government databases.
💡🪪Selfie Process: Performs facial comparison.
Face Occluded: This feature detects any obstructions in the user’s selfie image. It identifies cases where key facial areas (such as the eyes, nose, and mouth) are obscured by hats, glasses, hair, or other objects, ensuring accurate facial recognition during identity verification. This encourages users to submit clear and unobstructed selfies.
* This option must be enabled to include the selfie capture step in both the ID document & Knowledge-based Liveform process.
🪪 Account Occupancy - South Korea: Adds the ₩1 deposit verification process. In the "Sender" field on the right, you can configure the depositor name that follows the code. You may enter up to 4 characters, regardless of language.
🪪 Address Verification: This adds an address verification process. Users are required to submit documents that verify their address.
💡🪪 Face Duplicate Verification: This feature compares submitted selfies with previously approved photos to detect duplicate faces. If a match is found with two or more approved photos, it will be considered a duplicate and rejected.
'Selfie - Facial Comparison' must be enabled to use this option.
Anti-fraud options
💡🪪 Liveform streaming recording only: This feature allows real-time camera capture. Disables photo uploads when enabled. When enabled, uploading photos for the ID and selfie steps will be disabled.
-
When this option is enabled, Only real-time camera capture is allowed for both ID document and selfie steps.
-
Only ID document upload is permitted for the ID document step when this option is enabled and 'Allow ID card upload when taking a selfie' is enabled. Still, selfie capture remains limited to real-time camera capture only.
-
When this option is disabled, Upload becomes available for both ID document and selfie steps. The option to upload remains visible in the UI regardless of whether the user grants camera access in their browser.
If this option is disabled, the 'Active Liveness' feature under the 'Selfie Liveness' option cannot be enabled.
🪪 ID Validity Check: Filters forged or altered identification documents. Requires resubmission if black-and-white or screen-captured images are detected.
🪪MRZ Check: Scans the Machine-Readable Zone (MRZ) at the bottom of a passport to verify accuracy. The information in the MRZ (name, date of birth, document number, etc.) is evaluated using a "level of confidence" metric. Based on the result, the field mrz_protocol_failed
will return true or false.
*For details, refer to Retry/Error/Reject Codes.
🪪Driver’s License barcode (PDF417) check: Scans the barcode (PDF417) located on the back of driver’s licenses to verify information. Available for licenses from the USA, Mexico, and Canada. This function automatically verifies whether the information in the barcode (name, date of birth, license number, etc.) matches the rest of the document. It also quickly detects forgery attempts to ensure secure identity verification.
🪪Advanced ID document validation - Presentation attack: Detects and blocks fraudulent behaviors, including presentation attacks, such as screen replay, printed document, or portrait replacement attacks. It can be customized based on submission patterns.
- Screen replay: Detects and blocks ID documents displayed on a monitor or digital screen. We recommend keeping this enabled.
- Paper-printed: Detects and blocks printed IDs. However, some countries issue valid printed or laminated paper IDs. Enable based on user submission trends.
- Replace portraits: Detects and blocks cases where the ID photo is replaced or obscured. We recommend keeping this enabled.
🪪Proxy & VPN Detection: Automatically assesses risk based on the submitter's IP address. If the risk score exceeds 90, all eKYC submissions from that IP will be blocked for more than 48 hours.
💡🪪Selfie Liveness Check: Detects the liveness of the submitted selfie image and filters out screen captures, masks, etc.
- Active: Effectively detects deepfake-based spoofing and filters out malicious attempts quickly.
* This feature cannot be enabled simultaneously with the “Photo upload ” option. - Passive: Detects anomalies in large volumes based on image texture analysis.
