This guide is designed to help you integrate ARGOS eKYC seamlessly and efficiently into your service. It outlines the tasks required at each stage of the integration process, along with helpful resource links to facilitate a more precise understanding and more straightforward navigation of the entire process.
Step 1: Decide how to use ID check service to your service
The first step in integrating the ARGOS ID check solution into your service is to choose the solution that best meets your needs. Liveform minimizes technical complexity and offers a ready-to-use, one-stop solution. If you want to customize the user experience, you can design your user interface through APIs while leveraging ARGOS's core process engine. Carefully evaluate each option and choose the identity verification method provided by ARGOS that best fits your service.
Notice
ID document Verification: This method verifies a user's identity using ID documents. It uses various verification techniques tailored to each country and document type to determine authenticity.
Knowledge-based Verification: This method quickly and efficiently verifies identity based on user-provided information, including mobile phone number verification.
Step 2: Set up your ID check user policies
Setting up a proper ID check policy is essential to ensure your service remains stable and to enhance the user experience. In the "Settings" menu of the dashboard, you can configure user policies based on criteria such as age, country, and ARGOS SCORE to maximize security and efficiency. You can also enhance security through features such as multi-factor authentication and tamper detection, including selfie verification and liveness checks.
Additional configurations for collecting supplementary information or conducting Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for financial transactions can also be completed in this step. Finally, set up filtering for anti-money laundering compliance using the AML Search feature to meet legal requirements. These settings will help enhance service safety and build user trust.
Please note that ID check policies may vary depending on the selected verification method (ID document & Knowledge-based).
Step 3: Determine database matching method
This step involves matching ID check results with your service database. By default, you can match using a unique user ID. When using Liveform, you can pass the userId information to ARGOS via query strings in the URL.
If using the API, include the userId information in the API call to ARGOS. Additionally, you can integrate Webhooks to receive ID check results in real time or use the Get/submission feature to query submitted results and verify user information. These methods allow for the efficient integration and management of ID check results with your service database.
Step 4: Testing and Validation
Once all configurations are complete, this step involves validating whether the ID check solution functions correctly in a live service environment. Use the ARGOS dashboard to review ID check processes and their outcomes intuitively. Conduct tests with various user scenarios to evaluate the system's performance. Analyze any issues identified during this process and make the necessary adjustments to maximize the efficiency and reliability of the user authentication process. Refer to FAQs and documentation for additional information or to troubleshoot potential issues. The goal of this step is to provide the best possible user experience.
